Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that is used in severe fungal infections. It is used to treat athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, tinea, and also sometimes in pityriasis. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline and Tolnaftate are also used in cream which are also antifungal drugs.
