KETOLE SHAMPOO

The major component of the shampoo is Ketoconazole-Pyrithione Zinc. It is an azole antifungal drug. It is prescribed in case of seborrheic dermatitis, a certain type of dandruff which is caused by fungal growth. This results in dry skin. The shampoo will prevent fungal growth.

Side Effects

There are certain side effects like redness, burning, or dryness of the skin. The shampoo does not show any serious side reactions, but one can expect minor side effects. Make sure that you are not allergic to azole antifungal drugs. It can be harmful if swallowed. In case this happens, contact the doctor as soon as possible.

Usage

Apply on the hair and make sure that the product is acting on the scalp. Do it as the doctor prescribed. If the treatment is missed, just make sure to remember next time. Generally, treatment goes on for 2 weeks.
