Description

Luliconazole treats skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. This cream is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus.

Directions of use

  • Before using luliconazole for the first time and each time you get a refill, read the Patient Information Leaflet if one is provided by your pharmacist. Ask your physician or chemist if you have any questions. 
  • Only the skin should be used for this treatment. Before applying the medication, wash and dry your hands. Then, wipe and dry the affected region. 
  • As instructed by your doctor, often once a day, apply a thin film of the drug to the affected area and some of the surrounding skin and gently rub it in. 
  • The type of infection being treated determines how long the treatment will last. Use this just as directed; do not apply it more frequently. Your risk of adverse effects will rise, and your condition won’t get better any faster if you don’t use it as directed.
  • After applying the medication, wash your hands thoroughly. Do not cover, bandage, or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
